IBM Wellness Programs

The following online IBM Wellness Programs are available to IBM active regular and supplemental employees:

• Express Wellness
  Provides a baseline assessment of health including: cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose, body composition and bone density. This program is also available on site at numerous IBM locations throughout the year.
• Health & Wellness Companion
  Provides tools to monitor health improvement.
• Virtual Fitness Center
  Provides an online physical activity tracking program.
• Think Light
  A 12-week self-directed program designed to help participants lose weight through meal planning and sensible eating. Participants must have a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or greater.
• SparkPeople
  Provides online nutrition information including menus and eating for a healthy lifestyle.
• Stress Directions
  Provides an online stress management workshop.
• Quitnet or Smoke Stoppers
  Provides a choice of online smoking cessation program or an at home kit.
• IBM Care Advantage
  Helps employees with certain chronic illnesses to manage their own conditions.

• Immunizations
  Flu and tetanus shots are available at no charge for IBM active regular and supplemental employees, on site at numerous IBM locations, or at selected retail centers for IBM employees who don’t have access to the on site program. • Lifeworks
  Provides access to information about balancing work and life for IBM regular and supplemental employees, their spouses/partners, dependents and IBM retirees. Call 1-800-635-0606 for information.
• Weight Watchers at Work
  A 10 – 15 week program taught by Weight Watchers International offered at a limited number of IBM locations for IBM active regular and supplemental employees. Contact Leslie Snow at 919-543-0848 to see if there is a program in your area.
